Throughout most of human existence, parents have cared for their infants hygiene without the use of diapers. In many traditional cultures around the world, mothers still know how to tune into their infants to keep them clean & content. Your baby, too, can enjoy the comfort of this natural approach. Join me as we explore: How to understand and respond to your baby’s elimination needs Use the four tools for ‘diaper freedom’ Discuss common concerns about nighttime, clothing, outings, “accidents”, diaper use and more! Different tools & resources to support your journey Natural Infant Hygiene is not only about keeping your baby clean, dry and happy without diapers, it is also a way of cultivating a deep connection with your little one that will last a lifetime. This technique (also referred to as Elimination Communication, or EC) is how all human babies were hygienically cared for and is based on instincts, signals, timing and can be learned by anyone! Kristyna will share her own experience of her journey with natural infant hygiene she used with her son right from birth who was completely toilet independent by the age of 18 months. Mothers will leave this class with the confidence to start implementing the principles right away. Babes in arms welcome (and encouraged!!!) Light organic snack and herbal tea provided. The following policy applies to all services events and programs (in person and or online) unless a specific event or program explicitly modifies it. Cancellation Policy Overall policy - there are no refunds. Kristyna reserves the right to review refund requests on a case by case basis under special circumstances. Under this clause, should a refund be approved, refunds are subject to a administrative fee of at least 20% Registration can be transferred to another person if requested in writing by e‐mail. Requests will be reviewed and approved on a case by case basis. All requests for substitutions or transfers must be received via email at least 7 days before the booking date with the name and contact email for both the registered and replacement participants. Amendments: Kristyna Shea reserves the right to modify the program up to the day of the event. It may be necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances, to alter the program, venue and/or speakers. Regrettably, this means no refunds or credits can be issued in line with the cancellation policy. Change in Date: If unforeseen circumstances cause Kristyna Shea to change the date of an event, all participants will be informed as soon as possible and a transfer to the new dates will be offered. If the new date is unacceptable, participants can request a full refund. Cancellation: If unforeseen circumstances cause Kristyna Shea to cancel an event, all participants will be informed as soon as possible and a full registration fee refund will be made. In the event of a cancellation, Kristyna Shea accepts no responsibility for covering travel, hotel or other costs incurred by participants and guests. Inclement weather: a participant’s ability to attend an event because of weather, while regrettable, is not cause for a refund. Other Terms and Conditions All purchases made on this site form a contract with Kristyna Shea, all these contracts will be governed by the law of Nova Scotia. Kristyna Shea offers guidance and activity suggestions through our programs, however the life decisions you make and actions you take as a result of any of our programs and events are entirely up to you. Kristyna Shea, her staff, volunteers, sub-contractors and directors assume no responsibility for any of your actions or decisions following our programs and events. When booking services involving hands on treatments through this website, you are releasing Kristyna Shea of any responsibility for adverse reactions following treatment.
